David Onoprishvili Participated in the National Association of Insurance Commissioners International Insurance Forum
On May 29–30, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) of the United States held its annual International Insurance Forum in Washington, D.C. The event was attended by representatives from various countries, including the Chairman of the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia, David Onoprishvili and Deputy Chairperson, Ekaterine Tsereteli.
The forum was hosted by Mr. Jon Godfread, Commissioner of the North Dakota Insurance Department and President of the NAIC. Discussions at the forum focused on current challenges and development trends in the insurance sector. Topics included the impact of artificial intelligence on the insurance industry, climate risks and sustainability mechanisms, the role of alternative investments amid rising interest rates, innovations and product accessibility in emerging markets and the effects of demographic shifts on health and pension insurance.
