DAVID ONOPRISHVILI PARTICIPATED IN THE IAIS COMMITTEE SESSION
On November 7, 2023, David Onoprishvili, on behalf of the Service and the country, as a Committee member participated in the meeting of Assessment and Implementation Committee within an annual conference held by IAIS in Tokyo, capital of Japan.
The Committee work includes discussion of the reports of different committees and final approval. This time, the Committee members reviewed scenarios caused by climate change risks in the sector and related market behaviour, artificial intellect in the insurance and future plans of the Committee that will reflect in the future work of the Association.
Among other issues, materials concerning the implementation of holistic supervision framework, recent developments in relation to climate risks, use of artificial intellect in the insurance industry and issues foreseen in 2024 guidelines were also discussed.
