Project Goal

EU Twinning Project “Capacity Building of Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia” (ISSSG) aims to support Georgia in fulfilling the obligations undertaken from Association Agreement between Georgia and EU to ensure the efficiency, accountability and safety of the financial sector and its further improvement.

Project Objective

The objective of the EU Twinning Project is to strengthen the institutional and human capacity of the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia (ISSSG) by aligning the relevant legal framework with EU regulations in terms of Solvency II standards.

Project Duration

The project started in November, 2019 and lasted for two years and ten months.
