Representatives of insurance supervisory authorities from various countries, international experts, and stakeholders in the insurance sector participated in the conference.

Following the conference, David Onoprishvili’s visit continued with bilateral and regional working meetings.

As part of the visit, a regional working meeting was held with representatives of supervisory authorities from the Central, Eastern Europe and Transcaucasia region, chaired by Gorazd Čibej, Managing Director of the Insurance Supervision Agency and Regional Coordinator of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors for the Central, Eastern Europe and Transcaucasia region. The meeting addressed the initiatives of the Association’s Executive Committee, the priority areas of the region and coordination issues within the region.

As part of the series of meetings, David Onoprishvili held bilateral meetings with Koppány Nagy, Director of Insurance, Pension Funds, Financial Enterprises and Intermediaries Supervision Directorate at the National Bank of Hungary and Branko Barjaktarović, Director of the Insurance Supervision Agency of Montenegro.
