WORK MEETING WITH THE REPRESENTATIVES OF NATIONAL BANK OF GEORGIA (NBG)
From November 1, 2022, non-bank financial institutions and other interested organizations - including fintech companies – will be given an opportunity to engage in open banking, which will allow them to offer innovative products and services to their customers. For this purpose, under the initiative of the National Bank of Georgia, work meetings are being held with non-banking organizations.
Today, NBG representatives held a meeting with insurance companies, GITA • Tech Park startups and fintech companies.
At the meeting, the participants discussed current opportunities related to inclusion of non-banking organizations in open banking, further expansion of open banking and the development of open finances.
