MEETING AT THE COMMITTEE OF SECTORAL ECONOMY AND ECONOMIC POLICY
In the Parliament of Georgia, a meeting was held with Eka Sepashvili, the first deputy chairman of the Committee of Sectoral Economy and Economic Policy, where the representatives of the National Competition Agency - the first deputy chairman, Levan Kalandadze, and the employees of the Consumer Rights Protection Department participated. Mariam Koshoridze, the head of the Consumer Rights Protection and Financial Education Division of the legal department of the Insurance State Supervision Service and Nino Kipiani, the head of the Legal Assurance Division, also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, special focus was made on the issue of full implementation of the Law "On Protection of Consumer Rights", current activities and future plans. Like Eka Sepashvili mentioned at the meeting, practical enforcement of the law will be another real step towards European integration, which will contribute to Georgia's economic integration in the European Union space.
